How to take orders and process orders as a Freelancer

There are 6 statuses of an order, please read through all statuses carefully to understand how orders work and what you need to do to successfully complete orders.

Pending Payment
  • This is when the client has already pressed the Place Order button, but the transaction haven't been completed yet or the payment has failed.

  • At this stage you won't receive a notification about a new order.

Processing Orders: Getting in touch with Client, Start Working on the Task
  • After the client successfully completed the payment, their order will go to the processing status.

  • This is when you get an email about your new order. In the email you will receive a link to view your order.

  • If you haven't done it yet you should get in touch with the client as soon as possible to confirm all requirements. You can do this by opening the link in your email and pressing the Contact Buyer button at the bottom of the page as shown below. You should use the 0xFreelance messaging system for all communication including sending partial work or the final product.

  • This is when you should start working on the project.

  • While you have any project in the processing status you will see a notification next to your username in the header, you can reach all your received orders on the Received Orders Page, or by hovering on your username and selecting the Orders or Received Orders menu item.

Delivered: Completing the Task and Delivering the order to the client
  • When you feel like you have sent you all the files and necessities in our messaging system which were explained in the task description, in the offer or in the pre discussion at the messages, You should mark the order delivered this will put the order to the Delivered status.

  • You can mark the order Delivered by pressing the Deliver button at the orders page as shown below. You should only press this button if you have completed all tasks set out in the task description.

  • After you marked the project delivered the order will go to Delivered Status

  • From the day you have marked the order delivered the buyer has 7 days to mark the order completed or if any correction needs to be done he can also reject the delivery, otherwise the order will go automatically to the completed status after 7 days and you can request your payout.

  • If the buyer rejects the delivery the order will go back to Processing status.

  • You can go back and forth with the rejection and delivery. If you can't make an agreement with the buyer and you feel like you completed all tasks which was initially promised. Please contact us immediately through our Telegram or Email.

Completed: The order has been accepted by the buyer, your balance gets updated
Cancelled: Help the buyers to complete transactions
  • This is not something you will have influence of, in some cases the buyers might have some problem with completing a transaction on our app or he abandon the payment, when this happens you won't receive notification and their order will go from Pending Payment status to Cancelled Status.

  • A buyer might contact you that he tried to buy your service but his transaction wasn't successful. You can help them instructing how to make a payment by sending this link to them: https://0xfreelance.gitbook.io/0xfreelance/application-guide/application-guide/guide-for-buyers/making-payment,

Refunded: Order not delivered within deadline or couldn't be completed
  • In some rare cases you might not be able to deliver an order even if you received one, in this case we will offer 100% refund to our client.

  • Please check our rules section to see in what scenarios a buyer can get refunded.
