How to use the chat

The 0xFreelance platform has a built in communication system which we would like to ask you to use at all times when communicating with freelancers. Here is how you can use it:

  • To send a message first you will have to be logged in.

  • We recommend you to always get in touch with the freelancer before you make an order. This way you can be sure of that he is capable of delivering the project within your deadline and he is available during the requested period.

  • You have multiple options to start a conversation with one of the freelancers:

    1. You can start communicating with a freelancer from his listing page by clicking on the Send Message button.

    2. You can also click on one of the freelancer's profile where you will also be able to start messaging them.

    3. After you complete a transaction you can go to your order page where you will see a Contact button to start the communication with the freelancer.

  • Every time you receive a message on the platform you will receive an email notification with the link directly to the message.

  • You can see all your messages by hovering on your username in the header and clicking on the Messages menu item.

  • To ensure that we always make a fair decision when receiving a dispute you have to always keep the communication on the 0xFreelance platform

  • You can send the following attachments using our platform: jpg, png, gif, webp, mp4, mpeg, pdf, zip

  • If your filetype is not supported, or the file is too large which you would like to send we recommend you to use online file transfer platforms for example WeTransfer or OneDrive where you can send your files as a link.

  • We understand our chat platform is currently not the best yet, but we are working continuously to improve that.

  • You are not allowed to share social media links or usernames.

  • You are not allowed to transfer communication somewhere else.

  • Please to make sure you understand all rules when you are sending messages, read our Rules section.
